Local seafood on the Isle of Wight

Being a traditional seaside pub, local seafood is our speciality. Enjoy a mouth-watering meal whilst gazing out across the English Channel.

Our daily specials board boasts a wonderful variety of seafood dishes, so be sure to check it out when you visit. As well as our daily specials board we have a delicious seafood selection all year round which you can find on our main menu.

Why not try The Steamer’s famous seafood chowder? A selection of poached fish, mussels and prawns in a creamy potato, sweetcorn, garlic, white wine and cream broth, YUM!

If you fancy a seaside classic our hearty, freshly battered cod and chips is the one for you, served with steak cut fries, garden peas and our own homemade tartare sauce, it will certainly take you back to family holidays by the sea.

Other dishes you can enjoy include our homemade fisherman’s pie or our fish stew, not forgetting the old favourite, scampi and chips served with steak cut fries and garden peas.

If you’re feeling particularly indulgent why not try The Steamer Seafood Platter (subject to availability), served with a whopping whole lobster, half a crab a pint of prawns, large crevettes, smoked peppered mackerel, peeled prawns, smoked salmon and a full dressed salad with new potatoes and crusty bread & garlic butter.
